The Master of Physics mention 'Fundamental Physics and Sciences for the Engineer' is a training closely coupled with research and its applications, which is based on the research fabric of the Faculty of Physics of Paris Diderot University. . It aims to provide our students with a solid background in fundamental and applied physics, which will enable them to access the engineering and research professions in the academic or industrial world.
The training covers physics in all its diversity, from fundamental aspects to those applied with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinarity. After a first year of Master's degree aiming to provide a broad and solid training to address many areas of physics, the offer of courses type in 2nd year of Master is extremely rich and organized around three main areas: the physics of the two infinities (from the infinitely large to the infinitely small), quantum physics and nanoscience, macroscopic physics and the interface with the living.
